Obituary of Gaylon Everett Hardin
Gaylon Everett Hardin, age 81 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mr. Hardin will be conducted on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 2:15pm at Yorkville Cemetery with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will immediately follow.
He was born September 25, 1941, in Obion County, TN; the son of the late Lunie E. & Lillian (Foreman) Hardin. He was a farmer, and member of Center Church in Newbern.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Smith) Hardin; son, Neal Hardin; and one grandson, Garrett J. Hardin. He was preceded in death by siblings, Glenn Hardin, and Glenda Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers are Verlon Barnard, Jake Cagle, Terry Hardin, Tim Hardin, Kelly Taylor, Steve Robinson, Buck Rogers, and Doug Holmes.
The family will receive friends from 1:00pm – 2:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Gaylon Everett Hardin.
