Obituary of Lois Evelyn Stewart
Lois Evelyn Stewart, age 80 of Milan, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Stewart will be conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.
She was born March 27, 1942, in Woodville, TX; the daughter of the late John & Hazel (Best) Hensarling. She retired from Kellwood Mfg. as a customer service representative and attended Dyer First Assembly of God.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny Frank Major, Steven Ward Major; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by first husband, Frank Major; second husband, Scottie Stewart; and her parents.
The family will receive friends from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lois Evelyn Stewart.
