Robert Henry Pickering “Bob Henry” McKeand, age 25 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Jackson Madison County Hospital - North. Private family funeral services for Bob Henry will be conducted on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 1:00pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Darryl Marcle officiating. Interment will follow in Alamo Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was born April 26, 1996, in Nashville, TN; the son of Leonard McKeand IV & Melinda Wylie. He was an outstanding son, grandson, brother, and nephew; who was loved beyond measure. He was a member of Laneview Baptist Church.

He is survived by mother, Melinda Wylie and husband, John; father, Leonard McKeand IV and wife, Susan; grandparents, Melvin & Mary Hill, Leonard & Missy McKeand III, Larry & Helen Wylie, Bell Sanders; two sisters, Mary Alice Williams (Payton), Elizabeth Boyarski (Zachary); aunts and uncles, Ronald Hill, Doug & Michelle Roth, Bert & Lisa McKeand, and Beth & David Smith. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Sanders.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorials to be made to: Gibson County High School, FFA program, In Memory of Bob Henry, Attention-Kim Todd.

Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Robert Henry Pickering “Bob Henry” McKeand.


On behalf of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, we are going to have a Funeral Procession of tractors to honor the life of Bob Henry. If you would to participate, we ask you to follow behind the family to the cemetery. We will line tractors up at the south end of the funeral home, along side the gravel road. We ask, if you participate in the procession, once we arrive at the cemetery, that you step down off your tractor and remain standing there, out of respect to the family requests to social distance.

If you do not wish to follow, but would like to support the family, you may park along side of the north end of the Hwy 45 bypass, or along the route to the cemetery (Alamo Baptist Church Cemetery), with headlights on, and ask for you to be safe and respectful during the procession. Should you want to proceed with us to the cemetery, we request you stay at your vehicle out of respect of the family requests of social distancing.
