Wilma Green

Mrs. Wilma Shanklin Wilkes Green, age 90, of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on April 20, 2015, at the Tennessee State Veterans Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Green will be conducted on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer. Bro. Don Barnett will be officiating. Interment is to follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer, Tennessee. Mrs. Green was born May 20, 1924, in Bradford, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Leo and Gracie Cash Shanklin. Mrs. Green retired from Windsor Corporation. She was a member of Union Methodist Church of Trenton. Mrs. Green is survived by her son, Ray Wilkes and wife Donna, daughter, Wanda Williams and husband Bobby; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; two husbands, John Wilkes and Charles Green; also by siblings, Evelyn Fay Clark Jones, Ophelia Shanklin, and Buel Shanklin. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Wilma Shanklin Wilkes Green.
