Willie Ross

Mr. Willie V. Ross, age 86, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on June 25, 2013, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mr. Ross will be conducted on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Jim Madden officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery of Rutherford. Mr. Ross was born September 9, 1926, in Kenton, Tennessee; the son of the late William and Elvie Campbell Ross. He worked as a carpenter and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mr. Ross is survived by his son, James V. Ross of Memphis; daughter, Regina Ross Madden of Saulsbury; son, Michael A. Ross of Olive Branch, Mississippi; grandchildren, Lisa Ross, Leslie Ross, Madelyn Ross McCamey, Steven J. Madden, Cheri Ross St. Jean, Jason Ross, and Brooke Ross Gonzalez. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Juliene Ross; brothers, Warren and Buddy Ross; and sisters, Dorthy Hollandsworth and Bertha Ross Sherman. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 27. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Willie V. Ross.
