William Yergin

Mr. William Aaron "Deuce" Yergin, age 84, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on January 17, 2015, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Yergin will be conducted on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. at the Walnut Grove Baptist Church of Kenton with Bro. Bob Conley, Bro. Wayne Rowan, and Bro. Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery of Kenton, Tennessee. Mr. Yergin was born February 17, 1930, in Gibson County, Tennessee; the son of the late Joe and Tommie Davis Yergin. Mr. Yergin retired as a trucker with Campbell’s 66 Express . Mr. Yergin is survived by children, Russell Yergin and wife Victoria; Dawn Mackie and husband Michael; Debbie Oskavarek and husband Sean; Denise Barloga and husband Jon; grandchildren, Becky, Michael, Amanda, Sarah, Jake, Luke, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Aubrey, and Holden; siblings, Lela Howard of Memphis, Helen Renfrow of Memphis, Billy D. Yergin and Coy Yergin, both of Rutherford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Rose Mae Zahurones Yergin; his parents; and brothers, Glenn and Joe Mack Yergin. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, January 19, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Rutherford and from 11 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Kenton.
