William Anthony "Tony" Duncan

Mr. William Anthony Duncan, age 67 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on January 5, 2024, in Dresden, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mr. Duncan will be conducted on Sunday, January 7, 2024 in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home- Rutherford with Bro. Stephen Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.

He was born December 20, 1956, in Union City, TN; the son of the late William Calvin and Ophelia Jernigan Duncan. He was a project superintendent at Henson Construction Service Incorporated, and worked with them for over 25 years.

He is survived by two daughters, Carrie Duncan, Shelby Duncan (Chris); two sisters, Tammy Mayo, Brandi Dodd; and one granddaughter, Bryleigh Sawyer. He  was preceded in death by his wife, Twyla Duncan, parents Billy C. and Ophelia, and brother, Tommy Duncan.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. William Anthony “Tony” Duncan.
