Vickie Glisson

Mrs. Vickie Maupin Glisson, age 48 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life with her loving family around her. Memorial services for Mrs. Glisson will be conducted on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Doug Powell officiating. She was born October 26, 1964, in Cook County, Illinois; the daughter of the late Owen and Emma Maupin. She was a former employee of Briggs & Stratton. Mrs. Glisson is survived by her husband, Gary Wayne Glisson; two daughters, Jaclyn Baker and spouse, Bradley, and Jessica Glisson; four grandchildren, Anakin Baker, Bella Baker, Connor Baker, and Abigail Glisson; sister, Patricia Bobbitt and spouse, Ron; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Mark Maupin. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2013.
