Vetrice Bucie

Mrs. Vetrice Irene Bucie, age 95, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at National Health Care in West Plains MO. Funeral service for Mrs. Bucie will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee. Bro. John McGinn will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Bucie will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee. Mrs. Bucie was born on October 1, 1919 to the late George William and Lillie Brewer Wright. Mrs. Bucie was a retired Department Supervisor for Sears and Roebuck Co, and a member of the Dyer First Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edger Brown Bucie, one daughter, Kay Carter, one son in law, Edward Barron, three brothers, Loyd Wright, Harold Wright, Curtis Brewer, three sisters, Bessie Hobbs, Dessie Featherstone, Beatrice Ottinger, great granddaughter, Tonya Lee Barron, great grandson, Edward Barron III, great-great granddaughter, Krisley Willis, and one step grandson Jerry Plachy Jr. Mrs. Bucie is survived by two daughters, Peggy Plachy and husband Jerry, Linda Jean Freeman and husband Joe, one son in law Johnny Carter, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren,and thirty great- great grandchildren, with many nieces and nephews.
