Una Marie Barron

Una Marie Witherspoon Barron, age 89 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Barron will be conducted on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Lane Self officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

She was born October 26, 1931 in Rutherford, TN; the daughter of the late Floyd & Lena Blanch Hurst Witherspoon.  She was employed with Kellwood, a cook for Tiger Express, and member of the First Baptist Church in Dyer.

She is survived by children, Wanda Janeaux (Rod), Kay Sims, Michael Barron (Paula); sister, Rose Anderson; grandchildren, Brian Younger (Kristen), Chris Younger (Crystal), Brandon Janeaux (Kayla), Lauren Schlemper (Zach), Anna Barron; and great grandchildren, Camran Younger, Pierce Younger, Easton Younger, Liam Younger, and Henley Janeaux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Barron; siblings, Ellis Witherspoon, JL Witherspoon, Alvin Witherspoon, Donald Witherspoon, and Odean Capps.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Una Marie Witherspoon Barron.
