Twyla Evonne Duncan

Mrs. Twyla Evonne Duncan, age 54 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Duncan will be conducted on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 12:00 pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.

She was born December 2, 1966, in Jackson, TN; the daughter of the late James Thomas & Linda Sue Smith Jones.  She was office manager at Kellwood, then worked as a bookkeeper at The Outhouse Portable Toilets & Septic Service.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Anthony “Tony” Duncan; two children, Carrie Duncan, Shelby Duncan; siblings, Tonya Fields (Stephen), Timothy “Bo” Jones; and one granddaughter, Bryleigh Sawyer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Jones.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Twyla Evonne Duncan.
