Thomas Mcknight

Mr. Thomas Earl McKnight, age 63, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away from this life on June 15, 2014, at Jackson Oaks Retirement Home. Graveside services for Mr. McKnight will be conducted on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer with Bro. Dewayne Goodgine and Bro. Jerry Legg officiating. Interment will follow. Tommy was born July 8, 1950, in Humboldt, Tennessee; the son of Samuel C. “Mack” and Elizabeth Flowers McKnight. He retired as a Tech Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force. Military honors will be observed. Mr. McKnight is survived by his mother, Elizabeth McKnight; sisters, Pam Lewis and husband Mike, Sheila Parman and husband Robert, Pat McKnight, and Denise McKnight; also brothers, Danny and Roger McKnight. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel C. “Mack” McKnight. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17 at Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
