Mrs. Susan Yoder, age 78 years, 6 months, and 23 days died on August 11, 2013, at Bradford, Tennessee. She was born January 18, 1935 at Norfolk, Virginia. Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Yoder will be conducted on Monday, August 12, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Berea Mennonite Church of Rutherford, Tennessee. Interment will follow in Montezuma Mennonite Cemetery of Montezuma, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. before the service. On July 12, 1955, she was married to Daniel N. Yoder who preceded her in death. They lived in matrimony 45 years. Susan is survived by five sons and four daughters: Rhoda, married to Dan Byler of Whiteville, Tennessee, Clyde, married to Marilyn (Yoder) of Montezuma, Georgia, Dorcas, married to Marion Garber of Commerce, Texas, Leroy, married to Anna Mary (Miller) of Bradford, Tennessee, James, married to Naomi (Miller) of Millersburg, Ohio, Christine, married to William Paniaqua, of Quebradon, Costa Rica, Marlin, married to Julia (Miller) of San Vito, Costa Rica, Anna of Commerce, Texas, and Danny, married to Sonia (Paniaqua) of Pataste, Costa Rica. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Eldon Swartzentruber of Farmville, Virginia, Ray Swartzentruber of Abbeville, South Carolina, Daniel Swartzentruber of Montezuma, Georgia, Merlin Swartzentruber of Ware Shoals, South Carolina; 2 sisters, Catherine married to Joe Troyer of Farmville, Virginia, and Bertha Married to Allen Yoder of Fairview, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Anna (Miller) Swartzentruber, and 3 brothers, Lloyd, Norman, and Noah Swartzentruber. The family wishes to express their appreciation for all the support, prayers, food, and help given in their behalf. May God bless you richly.
