Stella Marie Harrington

Stella Marie Flowers Harrington, age 71, of Humboldt, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at AHC Humboldt.

Stella was born in Dyer, TN on May 17, 1953, to James Thomas “JT” Flowers and Lorene Gunnells Flowers.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; husband, James Donald Harrington; two brothers, Jay Jeffrey Flowers of Trenton, TN, and Timothy Mark Gabel of Murfreesboro, TN; and one sister, Addie Lou Flowers Britton of Bradford, TN.

She is survived by her son, Rodney Shawn Frazier (wife Kelly) of Humboldt, TN; granddaughter, Tiffany Selene Frazier Bowling (husband Alex) of Bartow, FL; two great-grandsons, Clayton Matthew Bowling and Mason Lance Bowling of Bartow, FL; three sisters, Loretta Kay Flowers George of Greenfield, TN, Tonya Michelle Gabel McCoy (husband Bradley) of Gibson, TN, and Tamatha Mae Gabel Ross of Jackson, TN; one brother, James Thomas Flowers, Jr. of Knoxville, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Stella had a fascinating childhood enjoying adventures with her siblings doing her best to stay out of trouble but finding ways to poke the occasional wasp nest. She spent most of her working career in textiles sewing. She had truly given her heart always opening her home to strays be those kids or animals. Her home was a safe haven for all who needed it. She was a true animal lover and cared for her pets the many others that found their way to her door.
