Shirley Pruett

Mrs. Shirley Pruett age 75 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Humboldt General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Pruett will be conducted on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. Darryl Marcle officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery. She was born April 16, 1940 in Dyer, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Walter and Bessie Mae Stephens. She was a homemaker and of Baptist faith. She is survived by her son, Bobby Pruett; two brothers, Rufus Stephens and Donnie Stephens along with a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Pruett. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 13.
