Shelby J. Faulkner

Mrs. Shelby J. Faulkner, age 79 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Faulkner will be conducted on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Benny McVay officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery, in Rutherford, TN.

She was born June 27, 1940 in Bogota, TN; the daughter of the late L M and Rachel Lane Jones.  She was a homemaker, and member of Rutherford Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Faulkner; children, Tim Faulkner (Libby), Danny Faulkner; siblings, Jerry Jones, Linda Flowers, Mabel Stewart; five grandchildren, Mallory Baker (Daniel), Morgan Arnett (Jacob), Jacob Faulkner (Cassie), Peyton Jones Faulkner, Samantha Jo Faulkner; five great grandchildren, Elijah Baker, Avery Arnett, Tyson Baker, Finley Baker, and Andie Arnett.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Dallas Jones; and her parents.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Shelby J. Faulkner.
