Sharon Lou Owens

Mrs. Sharon Lou Owens, age 81 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Monday, April 8, 2024, at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Owens will be conducted on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2PM in the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. 

She was born January 28, 1943, in Derby, Illinois; the daughter of the late Jerry Gilbert & Celia Virginia (Colbert) Milligan. She retired from Slant & Slant where she was a seamstress and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. 

She is survived by three children, Donna Owens, James Owens, Gary Owens; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, JB Owens; daughter, Shelia Copley; and sister, Judy Russell. 

The family will receive friends from 5PM-8PM on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sharon Lou Owens.
