Scottie Lynn Stewart

Scottie Lynn Stewart, age 76 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Stewart will be conducted on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Kirkpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.

He was born October 4, 1945, in Dyer, TN; the son of the late Paul Abner & Coral Laverne Grisham Stewart. He retired as a TV technician and was a member of Dyer First Assembly of God.

He is survived by loving wife, Lois Stewart; stepsons, Johnny Frank Major, Stephen Ward Major; nephew, Eldon Turner; niece, Carole Turner; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister, Maxie Turner, and his parents.

The family will receive friends from 12:30pm – 2:00pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Scottie Lynn Stewart.
