Sarah Louise Cooper

Mrs. Sarah Louise Cooper, age 89 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Graveside services for Mrs. Cooper will be conducted on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 11AM at Sunnyside Cemetery. 

She was born March 18, 1935, in Braggadocio, MO; the daughter of the late Robert & Thelma Priest Barker. She was a sewing machine operator at Kellwood before her retirement. 

Mrs. Cooper is survived by two daughters, Linda (Jimmy) Dudley of Newbern, TN, Elaine (Richard) Berry of Dallas, TX; five grandchildren, Wesley Shanklin of Union City, Kurtis Shanklin & Haley Shanklin of Kenton, Melissa Berry of Oakland, CA, Adam Berry of Ft. Worth, TX; and six great-grandchildren, Dallas & Kelsey Shanklin, Landen & Kortland Shanklin, and Raelynn & Khylen Shanklin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Cooper (1990); son, Jerry Cooper; and brother, Robert Wayne Barker of Santa Anna, CA.
