Ruby Hollomon

Mrs. Ruby Evelyn Glisson Hollomon, age 81, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on May 21, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Union City, Tennessee. Funeral services for Mrs. Hollomon will be conducted on Friday, May 24, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Kenton Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery of Kenton. Mrs. Hollomon was born July 22, 1931, in Trenton, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Kinney Glynn and Ruby Aline McFadden Glisson. She was an insurance agent for Hollomon Insurance Company before retirement. Mrs. Hollomon was a member of the Kenton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hollomon is survived by two sons, Bob Hollomon and his wife Lisa, and Mark Hollomon; two daughters, Gail Perryman and her husband Mike, Nancy Rush and her husband Jeff; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kay Schang. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Cleveland Ray Hollomon, parents, and brother, Glynn “Sonny” Glisson. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton, who is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Ruby Evelyn Glisson Hollomon.
