Rita June Cole

Mrs. Rita June Cole, age 65 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Cole will be conducted on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Rice officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, in Dyer.

She was born June 11, 1954 in Trenton, TN; the daughter of the late William Otha and Estelle Smith Mann.  She was self-employed and owned Cole Auto Sales & Salvage and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived son, Jeremy Cole; aunt, Linda Conn; niece, Scarlett Cornelius; nephew, Robert Wimberly; great nephew, Colby “CJ” Cornelius; two grandchildren, Dylan Cole (Paige), Macie Yergin (Austin); and one great grandchild, Avi Lynn Yergin. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles “Charlie” Cole; parents; sister, Angelyn Cole; and nephew, Chase Wimberly.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Rita June Cole.
