Mrs. Rebecca Kate Wright age 72, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Wright will be conducted on Monday, September 22, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Rutherford Cemetery of Rutherford, Tennessee. She was born June 2, 1942, in Obion County, Tennessee; the daughter of Edna Amis Cook and the late John Wayne Maxwell. She was retired from Walmart as a greeter. Mrs. Wright survived by one son, John Wright of Rutherford, Tennessee; two daughters, Dee Bittle of Peoria, Illinois and Rebecca Ann Duvall of Lubbock, Texas; her mother, Edna Amis Cook of Bloomington, Illinois; and a sister, Debbie Cook of Bloomington, Illinois. She was preceded in death by a son, David Wright. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer.
