August 6th, 1941 - Saturday, March 30th, 2019 Rebecca Nell Swink Greer. age 77 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, March 30th, 2019, at her home with her loving family around her. Graveside service for Mrs. Greer will be conducted on Monday, April 1st, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Rutherford Cemetery. She was born August 6th, 1941 in Rutherford, Tennessee the daughter of Ralph and Louise Swink. Mrs. Greer was a retired supervisor for Kellwood Company for 35 years, along with being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, She is survived by her husband Van Don Greer of 59 years, one daughter Robbie Emerson and husband Jeff, grandson Dusty Emerson and wife Beverly, and two great - grandchildren, Cooper Emerson, and Annalia Emerson, one sister Ruth Miller and husband Connie, and one brother Phillip Swink and wife Sharon. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother W.C. "Red" Swink. The family will receive friends from 12 noon - 1:45 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2019 in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford, Graveside service will be held at Rutherford Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Rebecca Nell Swink Greer.
