Raymond Simpson

Mr. Raymond “Daddy Ray” Simpson, age 60, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on December 15, 2012, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Simpson will be conducted on Tuesday, December 18, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton with Bro. Bill Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery of Rutherford. Mr. Raymond Simpson was born August 5, 1952 in Obion County; the son of the late Freda Caroline and Charles Lewis Simpson. He worked at Hillshire in the receiving department. Daddy Ray is survived by his wife, Peggy O’Neal Baker Simpson; children, Chrissy Killingsworth, Lisa Jacobs, Robert Simpson and spouse Balancha, Joe Simpson and spouse Mae, Charleen Simpson, Carlene Roberts, Virginia Wardlow, Carylon Cooper, Arlina Minton and spouse Rob, Avanda James and spouse Jerry; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2012.
