Ray Blythe McCollum, age 70 of Bradford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, May 21, 2021, at his home. Funeral services for Mr. McCollum will be conducted on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Rowan, Bro. Gary Wallace, and Bro. Ed Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, in Bradford, TN.
He was born October 3, 1950 in Humboldt, TN; the son of the late Herbert Blythe & Helen Sue Yates McCollum. He was an electrician for MTD, and member of Harmony Primitive Baptist Church. He served his country with the US Navy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn McCollum; son, Lee McCollum (Heather); brother, Duke McCollum; and two grandchildren, Taylor & Blythe McCollum. He was preceded in death by stepson, Jake Behen; and his parents.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Monday, May 24, 2021 at the Harmony Primitive Baptist Church chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Ray Blythe McCollum.
