Paul Cummings

Mr. Paul Cummings, age 75, of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on October 31, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Cummings will be conducted on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Dyer with Bro. John Quinton officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery of Dyer. Mr. Paul Cummings was born March 10, 1938, in Dyer County, Tennessee; the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Birdie Pope Cummings. He retired as a truck driver for Brown Shoe Company. Mr. Cummings was Baptist by faith. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa Farley and husband Kenneth, Paula Balentine and husband Stacy; granddaughter, Chasidy Fitzgerald; great-granddaughter, Riley Fitzgerald; step-daughters, Kaye Eddlemon, Lisa Moody; step-grandchildren, Paul Dobbs, Laura Daniel; step-great-grandson, Will and Whitten Dobbs; mate of 26 years, Ruth Samuels; sister, Eva Pinkley and lifetime friend, Marvin Ramey. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 1. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Paul Vernon Cummings.
