Patricia Avon Saffell

Patricia Avon Saffell, age 75 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Graveside services for Mrs. Saffell will be conducted on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 4:00pm at the New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Scott Jewell officiating.  

She was born February 5, 1947, in San Diego, CA; the daughter of the late Arnold S. & Louise James Todd.  She was a homemaker and member of New Concord Baptist Church. She served her country with the US Navy.  

She is survived by three children, David Saffell (Mishell) of Rutherford, Amy Merrick (David) of Kenton, Todd J. Saffell (Shannon) of Henderson, Nevada; brother, Michael B. Todd of National City, CA; seven granddaughters, Amanda Saffell, Jessica Saffell, Kaci Merrick, Hailey Saffell, Samantha Saffell, Ashley Saffell, Julia Saffell; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Saffell; and granddaughter, Shayla A. Larson.
