Mr. Paris G. Bryant, age 78, of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away January 26, 2013, at the Dyer Nursing Home.
Funeral services for Mr. Bryant will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford. Bro. Johnny Witherspoon will officiate. Burial will follow in Rutherford Cemetery.
Mr. Bryant was born June 11, 1934 to the late Paris and Eula Reed Bryant and preceded in death by his step father Ocie Doublin, and one brother. Mr. Bryant was a retired Office Equipment Engineer for West Tennessee Telephone Company and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, were he served as a Deacon, and a Sunday School Teacher. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Mr. Bryant is survived by his wife, Betty Bryant; two daughters, Vickie Bryant of Oklahoma City, OK., Donna Bell (Richard) of Dyer, Tn., and Greg Bryant (Lisa) of Rutherford, Tn; five grandchildren, Brian Bearden, Shawna Bearden, Cheryl Freeman, Ryan Russom and Kyle Bryant; two great-grandchildren, Lilly Bearden and Chase Freeman; and one step-sister, Janette Ward.
Visitation for Mr. Bryant will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. in the Chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford.
