Pamela Carol Denning Lockhart, 59, of Dyer, TN passed away at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital on December 20.
Mrs. Lockhart was born on December 10, 1963, in Clarksdale, MS, to Bob and Carol Denning. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Dyer and retired from the Gibson County Special School district after 32 years of teaching.
She is survived by her husband Nickie; daughter Adriana (Matt Frazier); son Barton (Jessica Tate); sister and best friend Debbie Chism and her daughters Ashlyn (Caleb Poore) and Caroline (Kyle Lowry) and other nieces and nephews: Abigail, Divers, Josh, Lesley, Logan, Mason, Nicole, and Hayden; two bonus grandchildren Bentley and Christopher; and two grandchildren Analeah and Lincoln, whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Carol Denning and her precious son Nicholas.
She will be remembered as a loving wife of 37 years, dedicated mother, protective sister, supportive aunt, amazing friend, and devoted teacher. She was invested in helping each student reach his/her full potential. She was the biggest cheerleader for her family and friends and unwaveringly loyal to those that she loved. She loved everyone she knew and was loved by them in return.

Donations can also be made to Lebonheur Children’s Hospital, Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church, or Greenfield First Presbyterian Church.
