Pamela Jane '"PJ" Carter

Mrs. Pamela Jane Carter, age 62 of Rutherford, TN, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services for Mrs. Carter will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at 3:00 pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home, with Bro. Jonathan Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Rutherford Cemetery. Visitation with friends and family for Mrs. Carter will begin at 12:00 pm, Sunday, September 1, 2024, and go on until service time at 3:00 pm. 

Mrs. Pamela Jane Carter was born December 10, 1961; to the late Bobby Ray and Margret Ann Wilson McNeely. Mrs. Carter was a former factory worker with the Kellwood Company, and a loving mother and grandmother. She attended Salem United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Carter is survived by her children, Cody Carter, Chantel McGuire; two sisters, Greta Patterson and husband Larry, and Deborah Taylor; two grandchildren, Cayden Edwards, AJ McGuire, and one niece, Kari Pendegrass. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Margret McNeely.
