Norma Galloway

Norma Galloway, age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Galloway will be conducted on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at 1PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Davison officiating. Interment will follow in Yorkville Cemetery.

She was born September 10, 1934, in Washington, D.C., one of seven siblings: the daughter of the late Willis Madison & Elmira Marie (Farley) Flinchum. She worked at the Pentagon, then was a secretary for Kellwood.

She is survived by four daughters, Teresa Galloway, Mary Catherine Willoughby (Jerry), Susan Marie Davis, Patricia Lyn Davis; two sisters, Margaret Row, Mary Anna Layher; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Lynn Galloway; daughter, Elizabeth Jean “Jeannie” Galloway; and granddaughter, Amanda “Mandy” Blackburn.

Pallbearers are JD Davis, Cody Cotten, James Hardy, Dalton Kilzer, Brayden Hardy, and Casey Hall. Honorary pallbearers are Dylon Kilzer and Devin Kilzer.

The family will receive friends from 11AM-1PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Norma Galloway.
