Nancy Minton Corley

Nancy Minton Corley, age 81 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Corley will be conducted on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 2PM in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow in North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Kenton.

She was born February 13, 1942, in Union City, TN; the daughter of the late Monte & Marie (Gabel) Minton. She was a loving mother and homemaker, and member of North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by son, Dean Corley (Lisa); sister, Lila Browning; sister-in-law, Betty Minton; three  nephews, Tim Eddings, Larry Eddings, Greg Minton; two nieces, Sandy Minton Johnson, Vivian Minton-Clark; grandson, Adam Fisher; and two great-grandchildren, Ace Fisher and Laken Fisher. She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Minton; and nephew, Charles Eddings.

Pallbearers are Kolbe Eddings, Mason Chandler, Larry Eddings, Tim Eddings, Adam Fisher, and Steve Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be made to Best Friends Animal Society in Utah, or your local Humane Society.

The family will receive friends from 9:30AM-2PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Rutherford chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Nancy Minton Corley.
