Nancy Carol Carson

Mrs. Nancy Carol Carson, age 73 of Rutherford, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Carson will be conducted on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 2:00pm in the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Skelton officiating. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery.

She was born December 25, 1948, in Steele, MO; the daughter of the late William Otto & Hazel Maurine Freeman McCaig.  She worked at Kellwood before her retirement and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her loving husband, Paul Carson: three children, Steve Webb (Janet), Scott Carson (Tonya), Holly McBride (Bubba); siblings, Ronnie McCaig, Terry McCaig, Mary Scates, Charlette Kizer; six grandchildren, Meagan Davidson, Monica Hanes, Dakota McBride, Dylan McBride, Austin McBride, Madison Keen, Ira Carson; and nine great-grandchildren, Caylee Davidson, Madlyn Davidson, Harleigh Davidson, Carter McBride, Kinsley McBride, Oliver Keen, Cooper Keen, Usher Keen, and Drake Hanes. She was preceded in death by siblings, Dorothy Slaughter, Martha Bell, and Judy McCaig.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am-2:00pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Nancy Carol Carson.
