Monty Randall Mccaig

Monty Randall McCaig, age 63 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Milan General Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. McCaig will be conducted on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 4:00pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Jonathan Flowers, family and friends speaking.

He was born October 19, 1958, locally in West TN: the son of the late Albert & Lennie (Inman) McCaig. He worked at Goodyear in a multitude of roles and served his country with the US Marines.

Monty is survived by two children, Candise Belmont (Corie), Kevin McCaig; mother of his children, Denise Casey; siblings, Darrell McCaig (Patsy), Royce McCaig (Shelia), Ricky McCaig (Lisa), Linus McCaig, Deven McCaig, Renee Baker (Eddy), Bruce McCaig; sister-in law, Thelma McCaig; two grandchildren, Dylan McCaig, Ethan Belmont; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Kenneth McCaig.

The family will have a final farewell with family and friends; to include, music, special words spoken, and scattering of his ashes. This will be announced at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Monty Randall McCaig.
