Mildred Moffitt

Mildred Moffitt, age 92, originally of Mason Hall, Tennessee, passed away from this life on March 2, 2016, at Golden Living Center, in Union City, TN. Funeral services for Mrs. Moffitt will be conducted on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 2pm at First Baptist Church in Kenton, TN. with Bro. Shawn Allred officiating. Interment at Sunnyside Cemetery, in Kenton, TN. She was born October 9, 1923 in Louisville, KY; the daughter of the late Pascal Wall and Mary Brooks. She was a homemaker, and member of The First Baptist Church in Kenton. Mrs. Moffitt had been a resident at Magnolia Place Assisted Living in Union City, TN for the last six years. She is survived by three daughters and son-in-law’s, Johnnie and Pat Garrett of Union City, TN., Mike and Kathy Malone of Cordova, TN., and Greg and Lisa Boucher of Kenton, TN.; three grandchildren; and seven great grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Moffitt; both parents; and sister, Arlene Rowe. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm on Friday, March 4, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Kenton, TN. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Mildred Moffitt.
