Mr. Michael Wayne McCurdy, age 53, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Funeral service for Mr. McCurdy will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer, with Bro. Randy Mutter, Bob McCurdy, and Johnny McCurdy officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Dyer. Visitation for Mr. McCurdy will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 5 - 8 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer, Tennessee. Mr. McCurdy was born on March 24, 1962 to the Late Marion McCurdy and Helen Baggett McCurdy, Mr. McCurdy was a farmer, and attended the Methodist Church. Mr. McCurdy was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents. Mr. McCurdy is survived by one daughter, Zoe McCurdy, one son, Ian McCurdy, his mother, Helen McCurdy, his step mother, Bobbie McCurdy, one brother, David McCurdy and wife Kathy, one sister, Kim Stephenson and husband Mike.
