Michael Lee Gathings, age 66 of Medina, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at home. Cremation arrangements for Mr. Gathings are under the direction of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.

He was born December 25, 1953 in Humboldt, TN; the son of the late James & Clara Ottinger Gathings. He was employed at Sara Lee before retirement.

He is survived by two sons, John Gathings, Joseph Gathings(Joey); siblings, David Gathings, Joe Gathings, James Gathings, Martha Kay Williams, Carol Kail; and three grandchildren, Peyton Gathings, Shelby Gathings, and Cidney Gathings.
