Mavis Sellers

Mrs. Mavis Oneida Bradshaw Sellers, age 91, of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on May 26, 2015, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Sellers will be held on May 30, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford. Interment will follow in Bethpage Cemetery of Kenton, Tennessee. Oneida Sellers was born October 31, 1923, in Yorkville, Tennessee to the late Hoyt and Erma Couch Bradshaw. Mrs. Sellers was a homemaker. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the Dyer Nursing Home staff for the loving care given to Mrs. Sellers during her stay. Mrs. Sellers is survived by two sons, Ronald Sellers and wife, Dorothy of Kenton, and Gary Sellers of Memphis; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, James Bradshaw of Palm Harbor, Florida; and special sister-in-law, Margaret Polly Tosh of Yorkville, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends, and loving church family. She was preceded in death by husband, Ronald “Jack” Sellers; and two brothers, Joe and Doyle Bradshaw.
