Mary Roberson

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Roberson, age 82, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on May 31, 2013, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Roberson will be conducted on Monday, June 3, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Marlon Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer. Mrs. Roberson was born November 13, 1930, in Gibson County, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Alford and Lucile Morris Robertson. She worked at Wilson’s in Humboldt as a payroll clerk. She was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Roberson is survived by her children, Sherry Gray, Judy Fortner, Jerry Ray Roberson, Ricky Allen Roberson, and Sharon Anne Dunn. She was preceded in death by spouse, Vester Roberson, her parents and daughter, Jeannette Hodgerson. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, June 2.
