Mary Edna Griggs

Mary Edna Griggs, age 94 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Dyer Nursing Home. Graveside services for Ms. Griggs will be conducted on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Lynn Tharpe officiating.

She was born August 15, 1926 in Dyer; the daughter of the late Thermond and Irene McKinley Bond. She was employed by Brown Shoe Company and was a faithful and the oldest member of the Dyer Church of Christ.

She is survived by two children, Brenda Ward (Farrow) and Mike Griggs (Suzanne); and two grandchildren, Melissa Griggs, and Lucas Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband John Griggs; her parents; and her sister, Virginia Davis.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home.
