Mary Lois Bond

Mrs. Mary Lois Bond, age 92 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Funeral services for Mary Lois will be conducted on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 2PM in the chapel of New Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. John Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mary Lois was born May 25, 1931, in Cool Springs, TN; the daughter of the late Rob Walton & Mogie May (Williams) Minton. She was a homemaker, after 44 years at Brown shoe, and a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mary Lois is survived by two daughters, Paula Mathenia (Greg), Janet Bond; brother, Carl Minton (Carolyn); three grandchildren, Jake Mathenia, Kayla Motes (Brannon), Parker Plemons; and one great-granddaughter, Mary Clare Motes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bond; son, Steve Bond; brother, Robert Edward Minton; and sisters, Evelyn Minton, Blanche Jenkins, Helen McFarland, Lynda Fultz, and Luna May Irvin.
