Martha Stockton

Mrs. Martha Evelyn Lawler Stockton, age 91, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away on September 25, 2012, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Stockton will be held Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer. Mrs. Stockton was born May 29, 1921, in Dyer; the daughter of the late Gus and Mattie Bradley Lawler. She retired from Royalty Pajama Company. She was a member of the Dyer Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Stockton is survived by one son, Tommy Stockton of Kiowa, Colorado; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stockton; a brother, John Bradley Lawler and her parents. Visitation for Mrs. Stockton will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home from 5 -8 p.m. Pallbears : Brad Stockton, Jeff Cox, Cutis Halford, Brandt Jercinovich, Ronnie Barron, Bob McAlexander.
