Martha Hall

Martha Catherine Fletcher Hall, age 91, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be conducted on Tuesday, January 1, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Don Barnett and Rev. Thomas Bullock officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer. She was born March 16, 1921, in Nebo, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Claude Nathaniel Fletcher, Sr. and Edna Allison Fletcher. She was retired from Brown Shoe Company and a member of the Dyer First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Kay Tignor and spouse Harry; Carole Denton and spouse Terry; three grandchildren, Clint Tignor, Allison Little and spouse Justin, Matthew Denton and spouse Carla; three great-grandchildren, Samantha Little, Carley Denton and Elly Denton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J Garland Hall; brothers and sisters, Florence Allmon, Dewitt Fletcher, Irene Parnell, Maudine Baird, Oneida Hutchison, and Claude Nathaniel Fletcher, Jr. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2012.
