Marguerite Keas

Mrs. Marguerite Keas passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the age of 89.Native of Venice, California, former resident of Dyer, Tennessee and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana since 2005. Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite Keas will be on Friday, January 25, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Dyer. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery of Dyer. Mrs. Keas is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara K. and James Dasch; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen E. and Kathy Kease; four grandchildren, Jody Kling and husband Andy, Mikel J. Dasch, Lance E. Keas and wife Shanna, and Kerry P. Keas; three great-grandchildren, Parker Kling, Paxton Kling, and Jaxon Keas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Louis Keas; parents, Benjamin and Nancy Bement; sister, Lela Dudley; brother, Ben Bement; and granddaughter, Brandi Lynn Keas. Marguerite was a licensed Practical Nurse and a member of First Baptist Church in Dyer. Special thanks to the owners and caregivers at Fidelis Home Care and Hospice of Baton Rouge for the devotion and care shown to our mother. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Dyer before service time.
