Margaret Sue Bell Mccaslin

Margaret Sue Bell McCaslin, age 83 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at home. Graveside services for Mrs. McCaslin will be conducted on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Oakwood Cemetery with Bro. Lane Self officiating.  

She was born September 6, 1937 in Dyer, TN; the daughter of the late George V. & Louise Taylor Oliver.  She retired from Brown Shoe Company working as a finisher in the factory and was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyer.

She is survived by her husband, Pete McCaslin; son, Russell Bell (Pam); son-in-law, John Stephens; siblings, Robert Oliver, J.W. Oliver, Mary Isbell, Evelyn Bell, James Oliver, Marie Workman; three grandchildren, Michelle Joyce, Tyler Stephens, Ben Stephens; and four great grandchildren, Walton Joyce, Grace Joyce, Peyton Stephens, and Paisley Stephens.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Bell; daughter, Allison Stephens; siblings, George Oliver, Eugene Oliver, Verna Mae Phillips, Janet Thompson, and Arthur Parlow.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Mask and social distancing are mandatory.  Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Margaret Sue Bell McCaslin.
