Louise Turner

Mrs. Louise Starnes Turner, age 91 of Kenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Friday, January 15, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City. Funeral services for Mrs. Turner will be conducted on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:30 pm at North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Kenton. Burial will follow in North Union Cemetery. Mrs. Louise was born on March 3, 1924; she was the daughter of the late W.G and Addie Starnes. Mrs. Louise grew up and attended schools in Crockett County. Mrs. Louise was a member of North Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was very active in local affairs. Her passion was the Gibson County Fair of which she was a board member for many years. Mrs. Louise is survived by one daughter Royce Turner of Kenton, two sons Jim Turner and wife Barbara of Yorkville, and one son Lee Turner and wife Gina of Olive Branch MS, six grandchildren, and four great – grandchildren. The family request memorials to be made to the Gideons in lieu of flowers. Mrs. Louise will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm in the chapel of Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Rutherford.
