Louise Rose

Mrs. Louise McFarland Rose, age 91, of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on February 3, 2015, at the Dyer Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Rose will be conducted on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery of Dyer, Tennessee. Mrs. Rose was born April 7, 1923, in Friendship, Tennessee; the daughter of the late Druery and Willie D. Young Hopkins. Mrs. Rose retired from Brown Shoe Company after 34 years of service. Mrs. Rose is survived by son, Kenneth McFarland and wife Raeleada; daughter, Gwylia Upchurch; four grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by spouses, Garrett McFarland and Vester Rose; grandson, Rusty McFarland and a great-granddaughter, Marisa Upchurch. Pallbearers: Joel Upchurch, Lucas Garland, Keith Horner, David McClanahan, John David McCollum, Keith Stallons Honorary Pallbearers: Garrett Upchurch, Kase McFarland, Kooper McFarland, Jondavid McClanhan, Walker McClanhan The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, February 5.
