Lona Davidson

Mrs. Lona Davidson, age 98 of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Davidson will be conducted on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Nathan McCormack and Bro. Steve Gearin officiating. Interment will follow in Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church Cemetery.

She was born May 20, 1922 in Newbern, TN; the daughter of the late George W. & Lilly McCormick Gower.  She was a factory worker at Brown Shoe Company where she retired, and member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by four children, Shirley Griggs (Bro. Sherman), Doris Collins, Wayne Davidson (Sandra), Paul Davidson; two sisters, Helen Graig, Virginia Richelderfer; and thirteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Horace Edward Davidson; and daughter-in-law, Wanda Davidson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Friday, December 11, 2020, at the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home. Mask and social distancing are required due to COVID 19 restricted mandates.  Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lona Davidson.
