Lloyd Hardy

Bro. Lloyd Charles Hardy, age 85 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, December 22, 2013, at his home. Funeral services for Bro. Hardy will be conducted on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford with Bro. Darrell Doughty officiating. Interment will follow in Cowell’s Cemetery of Camden, Tennessee. Bro. Hardy was born November 23, 1928 in Carroll County, Tennessee; the son of the late Jim Hardy and Vida Latham Hardy. He was a retired superintend at Premier Paint & Varnish Company. He served his country with the US Army. Bro. Hardy was the pastor of the Dyer United Pentecostal Church in Dyer for 21 years. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Cain Hardy; two daughters, Nancy Ruth Paulhus and Janice Paulette Mikos and spouse, Joe; one son, Charles Joseph Hardy and spouse, Joan; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Billy Wayne Hardy, John David Hardy, and Dwight Hardy; two sisters, Elina Ruth Carroll and Mary Ann Melton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Lynn Hardy; a sister, Evelyn Carroll; and a brother Ralph Hardy.
