Lisa Gayle Flowers

Lisa Gayle (Jackson) Flowers age 63 passed away from this life at Rockcastle Respiratory Care Center following an extended illness and was reunited with our Heavenly Father on February 14, 2024. 

Lisa was born July 26, 1960, to Robert Sr. and Lois (Paschall) Jackson in Chicago, IL. Lisa married Keith Flowers on July 21, 1979, in Rutherford, TN. Lisa had a passion for animals, especially dogs and horses. She was devoted to her family and loved being in one another’s company. Lisa was a Christian and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Keith Flowers of Dyer, TN; daughter,  Amanda Poynter and husband Matthew of Eubank, KY; grandchildren, Roslyn, Vivian and Clayton Poynter of Eubank, KY; mother, Lois Jackson of Rutherford, TN; sister, Pamela Jackson of Rutherford, TN; and brother, Daniel Jackson of Medina, TN.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Candace Flowers; father, Robert Jackson Sr.; and brother, Robert Jackson Jr. 

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Rutherford chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home, from 1PM-3PM. Funeral Services will be at 3PM with Joey Hufstedler speaking. Interment will follow at Rutherford Cemetery. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Lisa Gayle Flowers.
